My name is Kate Stevenson. I have lived in Lincoln since 1998. I went to Parkview Christian and Lincoln Christina for Secondary and have a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from UNL. Aside from attending countless weddings of my young-marrying classmates from high school, I also have done countless brides' makeup for their big day. I worked for A Sound Impression as a wedding videographer and editor. I've also been a flower girl in one wedding, maid of honor in two, a bridesmaid in another, guest book attendant at two and cake cutter at one. I have had lots of experience as a guest, vendor and as part of weddings.
I realized that I came away from weddings knowing that brides don't think of a lot of things that someone who has been to a ridiculous number of weddings does. So I wanted to start a blog about it. I've always known I would be an awesome wedding planner with my eye for detail and great organizational skills and ability to delegate, but the market isn't really here.
